Information you choose to send
If you call or email Vidar Customs, the company receives the information you provide so it can respond to your inquiry and perform requested services. When you submit the website quote form, the information you enter is transmitted to the website server and emailed directly to Vidar Customs. For successfully validated submissions, we also retain a short private receipt containing a private quote reference, submission date, IP address, entered name, phone, optional email, city or ZIP, requested service and delivery status. We do not store the full installation description in that receipt. No customer account is required.
Third-party links
The website links to services such as Instagram, Facebook, Yelp and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may collect information when you visit them.
Website logs
The hosting provider may maintain standard server logs for reliability and security. This rebuilt website does not require third-party advertising scripts to function.
Quote form abuse prevention
To protect the request-a-quote form, we record IP addresses, submission times, and security outcomes for requests that reach our abuse checks. We include the visitor IP and UTC submission time in the quote email received by our business. The separate security-event log records the private quote reference when available, but does not duplicate contact details or the full installation message. Private quote receipts and audit log files are automatically cleaned up on a best-effort basis around 30 days after creation; if the site has no traffic, old files may remain until the next cleanup. Separate email and hosting records may have different retention periods.
